This was our group's (consisting of seven individuals) craft-based product development endeavor; the collection comprises seven garments. This ten-day program to Lucknow consisted of visits to craft clusters and expert artisans, under whose guidance we were required to develop this technique for garment pieces. Mrs. Madhuri Mishra, the master artisan(National awardee for Batik craft), welcomed us to her workspace, where we spent considerable time learning and executing the procedure.
